STAGING

STAGING

The goal of home staging is to show a property in a way that would appeal to the widest array of potential buyers. This helps them envision a house as their own, rather than through the lens of someone else’s personal tastes. Staging ensures that your listing is making its best first impression!

92% of top real estate agents also find that home staging is beneficial to selling the property in general and, according to Home Advisor, homes that have been staged spend between 33% and 50% less time on the market and oftentimes sell for more than the asking price. These statistics alone prove that staging is one of the best investments you can make when selling a property.

DDI Staging Process:

  1. Site Visit and In-Home Evaluation

Our team will visit your listing to evaluate your needs, timeline, investment and the amount of work required to achieve the best potential design.

  2. Proposal

After the initial visit, we will determine the property’s needs for accessories, furniture rentals, a design refresh, or more. We will draft a proposal with these recommendations as well as a quote. Once we’ve received the signed contractual agreement together with your deposit, we will begin the design process.

  3. Design Concept & Breakdown of Costs

Deliverables provided will outline each room’s staging concept in addition to the furniture and accessories needed to achieve it. Items that are not existing will need to be purchased or rented and their respective prices will be included.

  4. Delivery & Installation

Once the design boards have been approved, we will purchase/rent the previously agreed upon pieces and commission any work needed. Rentals will arrive via truck on a pre-scheduled date and all other fixtures will be installed on a timeline created with the homeowner.

  5. Photography

When the staging is complete, we can be available to collaborate with your photographer on how to capture the best possible images of your listing for its go-to-market photos.

  6. Project Breakdown

Once your property is closed on, the rented items will be collected and the client can purchase or return any other furniture and accessories brought in for the staging.
